Q: Is there a minimal amount of damage that has to occur in a traffic accident in the state of Arizona. To get a ticket

My wife was rear ended by a commercial vehicle in Glendale Arizona the officer told her since there wasn’t $2000 worth of damage she wasn’t gonna write the driver a ticket. There was minimal damage done to my vehicle.But my grandson was in the car we took him to the emergency room he checked out fine but I want to get the company or the insurance company to pay for his medical bill and the time off of work that we had to take. Along with the damage to the bumper broken rear view camera is it gonna be around three grand
