A: It is possible to file a claim for medical negligence or malpractice in the case of a surgery that did not go as planned. Medical negligence occurs when a healthcare provider fails to provide a standard level of care, and as a result, the patient is injured or suffers harm. If you believe that you were the victim of medical negligence or malpractice during a surgery, you may be able to file a claim. It is important to gather as much information as possible about the surgery and the circumstances leading up to it, as this will be helpful in building your case. It may also be helpful to speak with an attorney who specializes in medical malpractice cases for advice on how to proceed.
