Fulton, KY asked in Traffic Tickets for Kentucky

Q: Is there anyway to avoid losing my license on a 2nd offense no insura ticket in kentucky? first offense was 2.5 year ago

First offense was a fine paid and I had showed proof of insurance to the officer the next day, it was only a couple days lapsed. (Waiting pay day, with no grace period) went to court, paid my fine and that was it. 2nd offense is now 2.5 years later…I know my fine will be greater but is it mandatory for them to take my license or is there a chance that won’t happen?

A: I would recommend hiring an attorney and attempting to get the charge amended down to a lower offense that will not suspend your license.

A: Possibly. You should hire an attorney to help you determine what options are available to you in your county.
