Q: I picked up a free puppy on Facebook today. I gave it to the shelter saying I found it after I saw how thin it was.
I picked up a free puppy on Facebook today. The puppy ended up being extremely thin and looked like they were never fed. The place I picked them up from was a horror. The dog looked sick as well. I didn't have the money to handle the ER care. So within an hour of getting the puppy I took it to my county shelter. I told them I found it, bc I was scared I would get in trouble. Now the lady I picked it up from told the shelter that I picked them up. How much trouble am I in?
