Q: How to file and find a malpractice lawyer for free in Tennessee
In June of 2022 I had hernia surgery and a week later had to have emergency surgery because the first surgeon cut off the blood vessel going to my right testicle, I've tried to deal with it but it's made me so depressed and not very manly that I've tried to find a way to fix it but I don't have very good insurance to get a surgery that cost over 80 Grand, so can I sue the surgeon and hospital for doing this to me, and what lawyer would even take it? I can't find any lawyers that even want to sue for the recent amount of 800k that was awarded up north for the same thing. Help me
A: The Tennessee Healthcare Liability Act is not the easiest to follow. While not a complete answer, you must show some deviation from a standard of care and then an act that is not a known risk. Please feel free to reach out to us at Howe.Law if we can be of any help.
A: You will not find any medical malpractice lawyers for free. Put your medical records and bills together, and then talk to lawyers that practice that. It involves alot more than just filing suit within 1 year of the injury, so your time is running out right now. You may not have a case.
