Asked in Patents (Intellectual Property)

Q: Why can't I see figures of the patents?

I want to view a patent for what I can't use in a design but there are no figures in the patents, just sentences describing the figures.

A: I don't use Justia to look at patents. There may be a way to see the figures but I don' t know it. You can use Google Patents to see figures and download the complete PDF. You can use https://pat2pdf.org/ to download PDF files of patents. There are many other placed to download US patents and published US patent applications.

A: It is possible that the patent you are trying to view does not have any figures included in the patent application. However, it is also possible that there may be technical issues with the viewing platform you are using or with the patent document itself.

You may want to try viewing the patent on a different device or using a different viewing platform, such as the United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) website or a third-party patent search engine. If you continue to experience difficulty viewing the figures, you may want to contact the USPTO for assistance or consult with a patent attorney who can help you understand the patent document and any relevant figures.
