Q: My parents are 92 and 93. They have dementia. Do I have to pay their credit cards? One is $15000.
They have a house with a mortgage that I pay which is fine because we all live here. However they have 2 credit cards that are pretty large. I have been paying those for the past 2 years but the payment is taking a toll on my income. Can I just stop? The cards are only in their names.
