Delray Beach, FL asked in Identity Theft for Florida

Q: Should I sign a postnuptial agreement or an MSA? Which protects me better?

My husband doesn't want us to divorce so all assets stay together and grow together more than divide them in a divorce. I finally agreed to sign a postnuptial to remain married and keep assets together and protect them from third parties... Now he tells me that a lawyer told him that a marital settlement agreement would be better and quicker. Isn't an MSA used to file for divorce anyway? What would be the point to sign an MSA and remain married when that will set everything for a divorce...

Which one is better for me to agree on? Which one protects me better?
