Columbia, KY asked in Criminal Law and Probate for Kentucky

Q: my boyfriend is in drug court and probation and failed a drug test at probation today and caught a tampering with

with physical evidence charge he was trying to use fake urine and got caught . he had already had a tampering with physical evidence charge which is partly why he's in drug court and probation to begin with is, possession of a controlled substance (3 years) and tampering with physical evidence (5 years) in 2022. I'm so scared for him and our daughter she's going to be a year old in July is there any chance he could get out by then? is it possible that they'll just sanction him in drug court and probation and not completely revoke him? since he did catch a new felony charge I am so scared that he's never going to see the light of day again. please help any suggestions or advice would be very much appreciated do you think there's a chance they won't revoke his probation and drug court and make him service his time?

A: Doubtful he is out in July. His dishonesty with the urine is the problem. Depending on his record and prior infractions, the sanction could be as little as time served up to snd including full revocation.
