Asked in Employment Discrimination for Colorado

Q: I was wondering if I had a case against my employer. I work at a grocery chain

About 2 months ago I was yelled at on the sales floor by a district manager. A customer witnessed and complained to a cashier how I was being treated. I submitted an HR ticket about the incident. No response from HR with witness statement, district manager stops talking to me. I submit a 2nd HR ticket, no response. I find out 4th hand from the cashier that the district manager was looking at cameras investigating the incident. Dairy manager knows about my HR ticket from Store Manager and dairy Manger is talking to cashier about it. I submit and HR ticket asking why my personal HR information is being spread around store. HR has a conference call with dairy manager and store manager. I have still received no contact from HR or corporate or my store manager. Do I have a case against them for ignoring my HR inquiries and leaking my information around the store?

A: It is unlikely you have any sort of claim. You have made a complaint to HR, and it appears HR is investigating your complaint.
