Coolidge, AZ asked in Family Law for Arizona

Q: Can a parent live in the home where their minor child lives with a legal guardian?

My sister has signed doc's in Creek county Oklahoma giving me supported guardianship of her 13 and 6 year old children. She wants to live with me as well. Is that allowed? I hope not.

A: legal guardianship grants certain rights and responsibilities to the guardian over a minor child. The guardian is typically responsible for the child's well-being, care, and decision-making, while the parent's rights may be temporarily limited or suspended.

Regarding living arrangements, it is generally possible for a parent to live in the same home as their child who is under the guardianship of another person. However, this situation can vary depending on the specifics of the guardianship order and any court restrictions or requirements.
