Wondering if I legally need to pay this medical bill since I already signed off on the total amount, including all medical expenses from my lawyer
A: If a valid bill was not paid from the settlement, you are still responsible to pay it. But your attorney may be responsible for some or all of it if the attorney should have negotiated or otherwise handled the lien. Ask the attorney to negotiate the lien.
