San Antonio, TX asked in Criminal Law and Traffic Tickets for Texas

Q: What does it mean when an adjudged and decreed Dismissal after Motion by Prosecutor is granted? It was for no D.L.

The ticket was for driving with no license. I didn’t pay and got a warrant out for my arrest. I was 18 years old. I hired a lawyer years later and I got a document that says the Dismissal After Motion By Prosecutor was ordered , adjudged, and Decreed by the court and hereby dismissed. But stapled to this document there’s a paper that says I have to pay a fine of $200.

I dont remember paying the fine so I don’t know if I still have a warrant out for my arrest. I don’t remember the attorney telling me I had to pay a fine. Please help. Thank you for your time

A: No one in this forum can comment on a specific case because the specific details are unknown. Contact the court in question to determine the status of your citation. Calling an attorney in your area might help. Good luck.
