West Branch, MI asked in Civil Litigation for Michigan

Q: I was wondering if I would be able to get relief of judgment. Or what defense I have for legal malpractice

It's hard to explain in detail, but there is a process that is to be used when dealing with individuals who had suffered a Traumatic brain injury to allow the due process of that individual. The judge in the divorce case stated on record that he was aware of the injuries, but failed to apply them. An attorney was present at the settlement yet when a TBI individual is under constant threats of imprisonment and the severe pressure it caused an unconscious reply at the closing as exhaustion had set in and the treating doctor would be able to back this statement as he put it in writing though the judge denied it. The other party is/was on antidepressants with documents of her actions after an increase in the dosage that caused her to file for divorce and there are countless testimonies to this effect. The plaintiff never worked in the 20yr relationship and actually was the responsible party for the defendant as she was noted as the caregiver though it was dismissed by the judge

A: What relief are you seeking? If this was a divorce without kids, then the issue is equitable division of assets and debts. Did you settle and are now unhappy with that settlement? Or was there a trial?
