A: In Georgia, driver's license suspensions can occur for various reasons, including failure to address certain legal obligations or fines. If your license is suspended under the Rights and Responsibilities Act, it's essential to understand the specific circumstances leading to the suspension. Suspension periods and conditions for reinstating your license can vary depending on the nature of the suspension. Generally, suspensions can be temporary, but they may also be indefinite until you fulfill certain requirements, such as paying outstanding fines, completing mandated programs, or addressing other legal issues. To determine the specifics of your situation and whether your suspension has an expiration date, you should contact the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS)
