Q: Can I fight a speeding ticket from 2006?
I just found out, by LifeLock, that I have an active court case opened in my name. After calling the Kentucky court system, I was informed the case is regarding a speeding ticket from 2006. I moved to Tennessee in 2004, and now reside in Oregon since 2010. I cannot reasonably be physically present in Kentucky to attend any court dates. Until LifeLock altered me to this, I have had no knowledge of this ticket or any court dates, and have never received any notifications from Kentucky. Can I fight this 17 year old ticket?
