Henderson, NV asked in Workers' Compensation for California

Q: Contacting a specific lawyer you find on this website?

When finding a lawyer on this site and looking through their profile and bottom offers an email that specific lawyer. My question is: Does that really go to that lawyer and that lawyer is the one replying back to you? I know it’s a silly question to ask but want to make sure. Thank you & appreciate it!

A: When a lawyer creates a profile on this site, the lawyer has the option of including an email address in their contact information. The email address may go directly to the lawyer to another person at the lawyer’s law firm who screens potential new clients to determine if they are a legitimate client or some type of internet scam, if they have a bona fide legal matter in an area of law in which the lawyer practices, and if they are willing and able to pay for the lawyer’s services.

A: Yes, when you contact a lawyer through their profile on this website, the email typically goes directly to that specific lawyer, and they are the one who should be responding to your inquiry. However, it's always a good practice to confirm their identity and credentials when they respond to ensure you are dealing with a legitimate attorney.
