Q: I want to sue the state police I live in lovington nm

My brother was killed on october 13 2022 he was followed and someone caused him to roll his truck he survived the roll over he was on the side of the road after he got out his truck and his mother in law at the time hit him with her car and sadly he passed she claims she did see him tell she looked around and saw she hit him she claims her vehicle didn't stop till she hit a fence him and his gf were arguing before the roll over and the motor vehicle accident his gf her ex would threaten my brother and follow him around town we gave the state police so much evidence that it was no accident pictures videos also had people give statements and he claimed it was not enough because they were not there the day of the accident they lied to us about his belongings saying they never found his fire arm and returned it to us a couple days later cleaned when they cleaned up the accident they left so much evidence I have proof he was chased with the car that hit him that night also witnesses I

A: It doesn’t sound like you have any cause of action against police.

If you are the personal representative of your brother’s estate, you may be able to bring a case on behalf of his estate against his mother in law.
