Portland, OR asked in Medical Malpractice for Oregon

Q: Hello hello, I not sure about a case. My lawyer dropped on me right close to the deadline and now I need an extension

I was induced into a coma. Was created two huge beds stores on my backside eventually making me lose my hip bone making me not be able to walk due to that case. I had a lawyer that was on the case and dropped it right before the deadline the most with pretty much let me not to be able to get another attorney and time I believe to get another case going. Said it was too much of a case load for him. Neither talk to another lawyer. They said they could have got three million for it. I was wondering if I could get an extension though cuz he waited so long

A: You should get a lawsuit on file if you can by your state’s laws (some states’s require a certificate of merit from a doctor). If it is impossible, you may have a legal malpractice lawsuit against that attorney. Consult with experienced legal malpractice attorneys in the state where this occurred.
