A: In this case, your neighbor was riding an unlicensed dirt bike on a county road, which is illegal. This means that he was trespassing on your property and was responsible for any injuries he caused.

However, there are some exceptions to this rule. For example, if you knew or should have known that your dog was a danger to others and failed to take adequate precautions to prevent it from harming others, you may be liable for the neighbor's injuries.

In addition, if your dog was running loose on the road at the time of the accident, you may be liable for the neighbor's injuries under Kentucky's dog bite statute. This statute states that the owner of a dog that bites or injures another person is liable for the damages caused by the dog, regardless of whether the owner knew or should have known that the dog was dangerous.
