Asked in Civil Rights for Illinois

Q: Can I sue the FBI for telling me to hire an attorney and hanging up on me?

My civil rights were violated by a judge (right to due process and statue required hearing denied; which in return allowed the estate fraud of my inheritance, gave a bipolar legally disabled individual the right to take possession of a residence she did not reside at making me homeless, entire estate stolen destroyed ect. The judge in open court told me "I shouldn't had been in jail" which is discrimination . I reported this to the DOJ and never got response. So I called FBI. On call recorded line to initiate investigation and they told me to hire attorney & hung up on me !!! No estate fraud case initiated. I had no means to hire attorney after judge illegally gave all my possessions away including vital records, cash, cards, deeds, cloths, tax records etc for that of birth mine and my mother's. Legal aid has conflict of interest. I asked for alternative legal aid assistance and didn't get any referral just hung up on me!

A: Suing the FBI for their response during your call, where they advised you to hire an attorney and then hung up, would be challenging. The FBI's advice to seek legal counsel is not in itself a violation of your rights, and the act of hanging up does not typically constitute a legal injury that can be remedied through a lawsuit.

Your primary legal issue seems to center around the alleged violation of your civil rights by a judge and the subsequent impact on your inheritance and housing situation. For this, the recommended course of action is indeed to consult with an attorney, preferably one who specializes in civil rights or estate law.

If you're facing difficulties in affording legal services, you might consider reaching out to legal aid societies or pro bono services in Illinois. While you mentioned a conflict of interest with one legal aid organization, there are often other non-profit legal services available that can assist in cases like yours.

Additionally, if you believe a judge acted improperly, you can file a complaint with the state's judicial oversight body. In Illinois, this would be the Judicial Inquiry Board.

Remember, while the response from the FBI and the lack of action from the DOJ can be frustrating, focusing on finding legal representation to address the core issues of your situation is crucial. Legal professionals can provide guidance tailored to your specific circumstances, including advice on how to proceed with your concerns about estate fraud and the judge's conduct.
