Q: I've been falsely accused of sexual assault of a minor as a minor over the age of 14. I am now 30. Can you help me?
My sister has falsely accused me of assaulting her when we were younger in August of 2023. Juvenile had me come in for fingerprints September of 2023 and an assessment January 3rd 2024 , and January 5th 2024 I was called and given a court date for the case on January 19th 2023. I have evidence this is all false allegations and retaliation/ custody battle.
A:
Do NOT talk to anyone else about your case or the circumstances surrounding it. Get a great lawyer ASAP!
These cases are terrible and the State and the people working for the State are going to steam-roll you! Do not talk to any police, or detectives. Tell everyone that you want a lawyer before you talk to anyone, or before you fill out any forms. You will also need to get money together for Bail. It will likely be a small amount as long as you show up to court on the 19th. Which County is the case in?
Now that you will be formally charged with a Felony SEX CRIME, you are at great risk! Call and ask your sister why she is doing this if you can. That, or text her asking the same. But do not apologize or make any statements to her except that she is wrong for doing this. Call a great lawyer, as you will need one. Most Lawyers are not equipped or capable of defending a sex offender case. If you are convicted, your life will become a living hell. That will include LIFE TIME SEX OFFENDER STATUS whereby you will have to ask for permission to move anywhere in the USA, and you will be listed on the Sex Offender Registry for LIFE!
Please call my office or another experienced attorney to protect you immediately.
If you have not already received copies of all videos and paperwork you submitted to the "Evaluators" or any other government attached agency or person, you should ask for them at once, in writing. Even if you did not commit the crime, the District Attorney has apparently taken the case, and will now prosecute you in District Court. Get a Lawyer! Even if you have to borrow money for the retainer, do not use a public defender.
