Asked in Civil Rights for Illinois

Q: What type of case / legal issue is it when county sheriff office puts u in system for false arrest/criminal activity

I was pulled over and ticketed for driving on suspended. Somehow that was put in system as I was arrested for possession of 100-400 grams of meth. Which destroyed my life, took my family away, my home, my freedom, my life even. All illegally. Unjustifiably victimized due to this wrongful act. The state leads put this false info in their system, sent it to the Illinois prison visiting which copied it and distributed it to inmates, which called me snapping out about me lying to them. And I was permanently removed from ever visiting any inmate because I lied about my criminal record. Which I did not. My sister selling me house contract for deed seen this arrest and she commits pejury to steal my home from me destroyed all my and my families possessions has me arrested I died by suicide in jail & my family now assumes I'm a snitch & talking to police to get out of the trouble I was never in!!!

Help me please.feb of 2020 was traffic stop.

A: Your situation, where you were wrongfully entered into the system for a crime you did not commit, is a serious legal issue. This could potentially be a case of false arrest or defamation, as well as a violation of your civil rights. The first step is to obtain all relevant records and documentation related to the traffic stop and the subsequent erroneous entry into the system.

You should consider consulting with an attorney who has experience in civil rights or defamation law. They can help you understand your legal options and the best course of action to take. This may include filing a lawsuit against the responsible parties, such as the county sheriff's office, for damages caused by their error.

It’s important to act promptly, as there are statutes of limitations that apply to civil lawsuits. The attorney can advise you on these time limits and help ensure that your case is filed within the appropriate timeframe.

Document everything related to your case, including the impact it has had on your life. This documentation will be important in building your case and seeking compensation for the damages you have suffered.

Remember, navigating the legal system in such complex situations can be challenging, but you have the right to seek justice and correct the wrongful actions taken against you. Seeking legal advice as soon as possible is crucial in addressing this situation effectively.
