A: Possibly, but that may depend upon more information than contained in the written question. Generally a Probation Officer in Pretrial Release Services would make the initial call (to request that from a judge), and they would have more information. For example, is the urine test positive for alcohol, marijuana, etc.? Is this the person's first positive test? How long has it been since the judge ordered the no use condition? Recent? Etc. In addition, courts in different areas may have different reactions. A missed UA would typically be viewed as worse than a positive UA, however. And seeking help with sobriety, as well communicating with the PO, can be helpful.
