Louisville, KY asked in Civil Rights for Kentucky

Q: As the plaintiff in a civil suit the defendants attorneys have mailed a document saying my case was dismissed with preju

Mind you this document that I received from the defendant's attorney was not signed or dated by the judgeA few days later I received a letter from the judge saying I had till x date to respond and if I fail to do so then at that point he would have to dismiss it but would do so without prejudice I also have the defendant's response and their motion for dismissal request and they have admitted their fault in this request how should I go about this should I send the information to their attorney letting them know that I'm going to be filing another yet motion for judgment giving them the opportunity to make a offer to me or just go straight to the judge

A: Respond to the motion and then find an attorney to represent you. It is doubtful they will make much of an offer, if any, while you are unrepresented.

A: File a response immediately and then hire a civil attorney to represent you asap.
