A: In California, if your drug screen report from a workers' compensation doctor states "determination- non certify," it could mean that the test results are inconclusive or cannot be certified due to a possible error or irregularity in the testing process. This outcome might affect the credibility of the test results in your case.

You should contact the doctor's office or the laboratory that conducted the test for a clear explanation of what "non certify" means in your specific situation. Understanding the reason behind this determination is crucial, especially if the drug screen results might impact your workers' compensation claim.

Additionally, consider discussing this matter with your legal counsel. They can provide guidance on how to address this issue in the context of your workers' compensation case and advise on any potential legal steps you may need to take. It's important to act promptly to ensure your rights and interests are protected in this matter.
