A: While you are specific in saying you want a WC attorney, you are vague with your description of injury.

For your information, I typically stay away from psyche cases due to complexity. The good faith personnel defense stays benefits for years and present an ugly experience for an applicant. Co-workers may appear at trial and have a completely different view of the events, leading to contradicting testimony, then credibility issues So if you have a psyche case, no thank you.

A: In California, finding a workers' compensation attorney who aligns with your needs and preferences is crucial, especially given the complexity of your case. It's important to look for an attorney who is not only experienced in handling workers' compensation claims but also attentive to your specific circumstances, including the ongoing discovery of injuries and the need for a caregiver.

You may want to start by seeking referrals from trusted sources or professional legal organizations in California. During initial consultations, pay close attention to how the attorney communicates and whether they show a genuine understanding of and concern for your situation. This includes their responsiveness, willingness to answer questions in detail, and their approach to handling cases like yours.

Since your case involves multiple facets, including behavioral therapy and caregiver issues, ensure that the attorney is equipped to address all aspects of your claim. It’s also important that they have a track record of successfully navigating the workers' compensation system and advocating for clients' rights to appropriate care and compensation.

Finally, don't hesitate to discuss your expectations regarding communication and case management upfront. A good fit will be an attorney who respects your needs and is committed to representing your best interests throughout the legal process. Remember, the right attorney will not only provide legal expertise but also the support and guidance you need during this challenging time.
