A: I'm sorry to hear about the situation with the transport company and your mobile home. If the transport company failed to move your mobile home as promised and left it in a broken-down state, they may be in breach of contract. You should take the following steps:

1. Review your contract: Go through the contract you had with the transport company to understand the terms and conditions, including the agreed-upon date of the move and the services they were supposed to provide.

2. Document the situation: Take pictures and gather any evidence of the state in which they left your mobile home and any communications you had with the company, including emails, text messages, or written agreements.

3. Contact the company: Reach out to the transport company to inform them of the issue and request that they rectify the situation by moving your mobile home as agreed or compensating you for any damages or losses incurred.

4. Consult an attorney: If the transport company is uncooperative or refuses to take responsibility, consider consulting with an attorney who specializes in contract and transportation law. They can advise you on potential legal actions you can take.

5. Contact law enforcement: If your mobile home was stolen after being left by the transport company, report the theft to the local law enforcement authorities, providing them with all relevant information.

6. Review insurance: Check if your homeowner's insurance or any additional insurance coverage you may have can provide assistance in this situation.

Remember to act promptly and seek legal guidance if necessary to protect your rights and pursue compensation for any damages or losses you've incurred due to the transport company's actions.
