A: If you feel that your complaints are not being adequately addressed by your local police department, especially if there's a conflict of interest, you have several options. You can escalate the issue within the police department by reaching out to a higher authority or internal affairs. Alternatively, contacting your local district attorney's office or seeking a restraining order through the civil court system may provide a more immediate response to your situation.

Given the complexity and severity of your situation, consulting with an attorney who has experience with cyber harassment and criminal threats could be beneficial. An attorney can offer legal advice, assist in navigating the legal system, and work on your behalf to ensure your concerns are taken seriously. They can also help in securing restraining orders or pursuing legal action against the individuals involved. Remember, you have the right to feel safe in your community and home.
