Ashland, KY asked in Criminal Law for Kentucky

Q: Can my misdemeanor probation be revoked?

Can it be revoked for something that wasn’t on terms and conditions. The victim of the case went to prosecutors office and they filed a motion for “abuse.” I haven’t heard anything and idk how I will besides if I’d be caught and there was a warrant. My only conditions were mental assessment and idk how long I have to do that and no new charges in which I did get caught driving on expired plates and no insurance in another city in KY. No drinking and driving. Nothing on my terms to do with victim because we have kids together. This is misdemeanor unsupervised probation for two years. I was just sentenced on 1/30/2024 and she supposedly showed them pictures and swore to a statement of alleged abuse.

A: No. It cannot be revoked based on terms that weren’t part of the probation.
