Chicago, IL asked in Child Custody and Family Law for Illinois

Q: Could I submit videos of assault into a pending case (custody case) against a mother? I’m a son of hers.

Hello I’m currently living in Illinois and wondered if there’s anything I can do to take away my half related brother from my mother she has half custody and is in a court battle with her biological father over the weekend she forced herself on top of me and hit me and tried removing my cellar device for no reason it wasn’t even in use it was just in my lap and she proceeded to threaten to call the police I waited for them to show up and they never did she never called them she is under investigation from CPS (Child Protective Services) and I would like to submit videos of her acting up and committing assault and denying it after she is not fit to be a mother I’m currently 19 and would like to submit a videos of her assaulting me and place her in a mental institution I don’t think she’s okay mentally and she needs help but won’t go get it she needs to be put in it. Is there anything we could do about this because this needs to end soon she’s violent abusive emotionally and mentally

A: You can talk to the person who filed the case against the mother and ask if he is ok with you talking to his lawyer.
