A: Based on the information you provided, it seems that the attorney you hired failed to properly represent you in multiple legal matters, including an eviction case, a sale of your home, and a personal loan. Additionally, the attorney appears to have engaged in unethical behavior by threatening to file for bankruptcy to avoid repaying the loan and mishandling funds from the sale of your home.

Here are some steps you can consider taking:

1. File a complaint with the California State Bar: You can submit a complaint to the State Bar of California, which is responsible for regulating and disciplining attorneys. They will investigate the matter and may take disciplinary action against the attorney if they find misconduct.

2. Consider filing a legal malpractice lawsuit: If you have suffered damages due to your attorney's negligence or misconduct, you may be able to file a legal malpractice lawsuit against them. Consult with a different attorney who specializes in legal malpractice to discuss your options.

3. Gather evidence: Collect all relevant documents, correspondence, and any other evidence that supports your claims against the attorney. This will be important for both the State Bar complaint and any legal action you decide to take.

4. Seek a new attorney: If you have ongoing legal matters, it is essential to find a new, reputable attorney to represent you properly. Look for an attorney with experience in the specific areas of law relevant to your cases.

5. Report the misconduct to local authorities: If you believe the attorney has committed any criminal acts, such as fraud or theft, you should report the matter to your local law enforcement agency.

Remember, it is crucial to act promptly, as there may be time limitations for filing complaints or taking legal action. Consult with a new attorney to help guide you through the process and protect your rights.
