Florence, AL asked in Car Accidents and Personal Injury for Tennessee

Q: What is a reasonable demand amount for my injuries ?

Whiplash

Straightening of cervical lordosis

Two disc buldges, c4 and c5

Spinal canal stenosis

Fluid on shoulder

Panic disorder, PTSD from wreck

Future surgery/treatment cost , roughly $100,000.00. Current medical bills $13,000.00.

The insurance company has only offered me $11,000.00. That does not even cover my medical bills currently. They are downplaying my diagnosises even though I have medical documentation and have been in a backbrace for roughly 2000 hours.

Please do not tell me to hire a lawyer. I am looking for a reasonable amount to ask for.Thank you.

A: That is a typical response from an insurance company. You need a skilled and experienced attorney.

The value is impossible to determine from these facts alone. Assuming strong liability and other positive factors, the insurance company is not even in the ballpark.

A: It would be difficult for anyone to speculate on a dollar figure that you say you are looking for. In addition to needing more details about some of the findings listed and how the medical expenses were handled to this point, there is also an issue of liability that needs to be considered. Good luck
