Asked in Medical Malpractice for Wisconsin

Q: My question is regarding medical malpractice. that resulted in death

My mother had a heart catheter done, the doctor said everything went great, even discharged her hours after the procedure rather than keeping her through the weekend as initially planned. 18 days later she died of a heart attack.

A: It could be medical malpractice. Medical malpractice means that a doctor violated the standard of care. A bad outcome is not enough. Another doctor would be needed to evaluate what the doctors did.

A: I'm very sorry for the loss of your mother. To determine whether there was malpractice, an attorney would need to review the file, most likely with the opinions of a medical professional. One option is to reach out to law firms in your state to try to arrange a free initial consultation. Good luck
