I belive I experienced Maternal Distress. she was actively trying to have me lose the baby.
A:
In situations where you've been subjected to physical and verbal attacks, pursuing legal action is a pathway many consider to find justice and potentially deter future incidents. Your desire to sue for the distress and harm caused, especially during a sensitive period like early pregnancy, is understandable. The first step in such a case would be to gather all possible evidence of the incidents, including any medical records, witness statements, and communications that could support your claim of intentional harm and distress.
Given the complexity of linking maternal distress to health outcomes in children, such as autism, it's crucial to consult with legal professionals who have experience in personal injury and family law. They can provide guidance on the viability of your case, taking into account the specifics of your situation, the evidence available, and the applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Remember, the legal system can be challenging to navigate, and having an experienced advocate on your side can make a significant difference in understanding your options and the likelihood of success.
Finally, consider the emotional and financial aspects of legal action. Lawsuits can be lengthy and stressful, so it's important to weigh the potential emotional impact on you and your family against the desire for justice and accountability. A supportive legal team can help manage the burden and work towards a resolution that acknowledges the wrongs you've experienced while also focusing on your family's well-being.
