Q: Do father's of unborn children have the right to keep that child from being adopted out?
The mother is 16 years of age and the father is 17 years of age and have been dating for over a year. The maternal grandmother is trying to force the mother to give up the baby once it's born (due in October 2024) and neither the mother or father want to give the baby up. The paternal grandmother wants the baby to live with them (the father still lives at home as well) but the maternal grandmother doesn't want her daughter or her boyfriends' family to have any access to the baby. They need to find out what rights the father has to prevent the maternal grandmother from keeping his child from him.
