San Tan Valley, AZ asked in Business Formation, Business Law and Construction Law for Arizona

Q: which branch of law? we built a very successful const co in the 60s-20 but theyre now lying about its origin & founder

I am unclear about what (if any) option is available to me in this complicated situation. Our Company Silver Fern Managment created by my grandfather xx. A native New Zealand born immigrant (hence the name). He started the company in the 60's and until 2016 he ran it first hand. When he died a few years ago I checked in on it and they have completely removed all mention and sign of him and attribute their creation incorrectly to someone else entirely, yet they still operate under the same name and thus benefit greatly from his very valuable reputation. Both his name and the company name carry weight in the industry and throughout AZ and CO. It's website has no mention of him/us (Donovan) at all and untruthfully claim his assistant that he trained up was actually the creator. Is this even illegal ? IS there any course of action available? They should at least need to change the name if they are going to deny the source of its existence
