Chillicothe, OH asked in Probate for Ohio

Q: Do you all handle any probate issues, next of kin is a 7 year old being fought by deceased half sister?

My fiancé of 7+ years and I have one son together it’s his only child he is only 7 we have lived together the majority of those years and everything we have was in his name he had a heart attack and passed away and now unfortunately my fiancés half sister wants to fight over property and vehicles that are in my fiancé’s name. She has an attorney and I can’t afford on I have low income and Brad my fiancé was off work for the last couple months so we have no savings or anything. His half sister thinks she should get the house that is in his name and the cars which are in his name we had no will or paperwork to protect what he would have wanted but it would absolutely traumatize his son if we couldn’t stay in our family home. None of his family has even spoken to him in almost a year and his sister has put my son through a lot of trauma in the past he is terrified of her. I just need a little information to protect our son the property was always intended for his son to inherit

A: All his assets go to his child. You better find a way to get an attorney. His stepsister isn't entitled to anything here.
