Q: why would the state file a motion to dismiss the entire case record 2 weeks before trial and keep 3 out of 23 charges?
my lawyer did not tell me about the 20 charges being dismissed i only found out about them being dismissed because I looked my case up online cause I could not remember my trial date my lawyer is using the 20 counts dismissed as leverage for me to sign this open plea for two f4 that is capped at 2.5 but probation is available it's up to the judge my lawyer is pushing this plea hard to the point I feel pressure to do so
