Lakewood, CO asked in Consumer Law and Small Claims for Colorado

Q: What is the minimum amount that's worth involving legal help on an Amazon purchase which was not fully obligated?

I purchased 2 ebike batteries from an Amazon 3rd party seller. There was a discount coupon offer available which I clicked on before checking out. I proceeded to checkout and there were other items with the same order and all went as usual until the delivery. I was only sent 1 battery however the Amazon orders page was showing that both batteries were delivered. FedeX was the carrier and I have a photo from FedEx of their delivery on only 1 battery. I've contacted Amazon on the issue and was told a couple of different things as well as the seller who's last response is false and I have proof of it. They are trying to cover up for some mistake on their end concerning the discount they offered and are trying to get out of their obligation of sending me the second battery. I have all correspondence on this matter from all parties and am getting nothing but the runaround and I am at the point where I need help however the matter is only over between $200 to $250.
