A: Under California law, simply being accused of a crime by another person is not enough to get you arrested. For an arrest to occur, there must be probable cause to believe that you committed a crime. Probable cause is based on factual evidence, not just an accusation.

However, if the lady who was arrested provides information to the police that implicates you in a drug-related crime, the police may investigate the claim. If they find evidence suggesting your involvement, you could potentially face arrest and charges.

It's important to remember:

1. You have the right to remain silent if questioned by the police.

2. If arrested, you have the right to an attorney.

3. Do not resist arrest, even if you believe the accusation is false, as this can lead to additional charges.

If you are concerned about being wrongfully accused, consider consulting with a criminal defense attorney who can advise you on your rights and the best course of action in your specific situation. Remember, an accusation alone does not mean you will be arrested or convicted of a crime. The burden of proof lies with the prosecution to establish guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
