Las Vegas, NV asked in Car Accidents for Nevada

Q: Do I have to accept this $2,000 offer that my lawyer said I have to accept for my car accident?

Me and my 4 siblings were in a car accident . A drunk man caused a t-bone and he is at fault . Me and my siblings were taken by ambulance to the hospital and we had no broken bones but my wrist was split open and I had to get stitches. we were fine just sore for a week from whiplash . And we attended chiropractor for 2 months which I told my lawyer’s assistant but she did not notate it . So fast forward I speak to my actual lawyer today after 2 years of speaking to her assistant and she told

Me we can proceed with suing since I did not want to accept that offer. but now she calls me back today saying since we only had 1 day of medical treatment we have to accept the offer of $2,000 but I told her when I spoke to her assistant all this time I told her what chiropractor it was and also gave the phone number . (My phone broke and I didn’t have the number and don’t remember the name) my lawyer called around and they would not give her the records so she told me I have to accept this offer

A: A Nevada attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for a week. Clients are generally free to accept or decline settlement offers. Good luck
