Q: Was scammed through Facebook Marketplace purchasing an engine in cash, anything I can do legally?
I recently purchased a used engine from Facebook marketplace which was claimed to be "healthy" and in good condition, after paying the seller in cash and bringing the engine home I found the engine to be unlike how the seller mentioned it in text and in person. There is serious issues with the engine that make it unuseable. I have full logs of times and dates with messages of how the seller claimed the engine to be healthy and no issues with it. The seller blocked me shortly after making the purchase but I am still able to reach out since they own a company near by which does buisiness. Being ignored currently and I did pay in cash so I was wondering if there is anything I could possibly do legally in this scenario?
