Q: We have an employee who, we recently have found out has be defrauding the business.
The circumstance is that the employee has, knowingly, created false identities to pose as suppliers for our business, and making a markup, misusing his position to do so, and profitting of this.
What can be done about this, we have proof (to some extend) in the format of a voice call recording, and from screenshots of conversations which he has had with the actual suppliers where he describes to them the markup he is making, and the price which he buys it for, along with what he charges us.
In addition to this, we have proof that he sells the same products which he is supposedly "sourcing" for us, to competitors at the same same.
What can we do about this? What laws are broken? etc.
