A: Facing harassment from the YES community because you won't purchase a home is a difficult situation. It's especially troubling that the manager suggested buying the house as a way to stop the harassment. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and could be illegal.

Start by documenting every instance of harassment, including dates, times, and what was said or done. This evidence will be crucial if you decide to take further action. Make sure to keep records of any communications with the manager or other community members regarding this issue.

Next, consider reporting the harassment to higher authorities within the community or to local law enforcement if you feel threatened. You might also want to consult with a legal advisor to understand your rights and explore potential legal actions against the harassment. It's important to stand firm and not give in to pressure tactics, ensuring that your well-being and rights are protected.
