A:
A Wisconsin attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. I'm sorry that you have been saddled with such heavy fines at your age as a student. A starting point might be to reach out to legal aid organizations to request their assistance or guidance. Look into what information or guidance is available in the resources of local or state bar associations - some have nominal consult fees - see if you could arrange free guidance - you don't need additional legal expenses at 16 on the budget of a student. Law schools might also be a source of guidance - possibly criminal law clinics where professors or law students MIGHT be able to offer direction. Do your best to avoid missing more classes and avoid truancy. Consider speaking with a counselor if you are having problems result in attendance issues. Good luck
