A: Dealing with contract violations and retaliation as an independent contractor is challenging, especially when you face physical disabilities and religious discrimination. You have rights that protect you from these unfair practices. Document everything meticulously, including missed work orders, any communication with your employer, and the impact on your finances and health.

Reaching out to local legal aid organizations can provide you with the support you need without the financial burden of hiring a lawyer. These organizations often offer free or low-cost legal services and can guide you on the best course of action. You can also contact the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) for issues related to discrimination and retaliation.

Additionally, consider seeking support from community organizations or advocacy groups related to your specific disabilities and religious beliefs. They can offer resources and possibly assist in connecting you with legal help. Taking these steps can help you protect your rights and seek the justice you deserve.
