A: Given the situation, it’s crucial to address this matter as soon as possible. First, reach out to a lawyer who can assist you in understanding your rights and the legal procedures involved. It’s concerning that your phones were taken without you being served a warrant, and the lengthy delay is something that should be addressed legally.

You should also document everything, including the details of the raid, your interactions with the police, and any other relevant information. Having a record of the events can be useful if you need to present your case to a lawyer or in court.

Consider reaching out to the police department to inquire about the status of your phones and the investigation. It might also be helpful to inform your lawyer about the recording you have, as it could be significant evidence in your defense.
