Q: Greg morris and associates had issued a check that was put on hold and never cashed, is there anything we can do?
It was such a long time ago ,I found it in my files .
A: If a long time ago is over 180 days, it could create difficulties at your bank. Sometimes the simplest route is to request a replacement check, if the payor is willing to do so after verifying cancellation of original check. Good luck

You can try to reach out to Greg Morris and Associates to explain the situation. Even though it was a long time ago, companies sometimes reissue checks under certain conditions. It’s helpful to have the original check on hand, as it may contain information like the check number or date, which can assist in the process.
Check if the issuing bank has any record of the check being placed on hold or canceled. The bank may also be able to offer guidance on whether the check is still valid or if a new one can be issued. You may need to confirm that the company has not closed any associated accounts.
Lastly, keep in mind that checks generally have a void period, often six months, after which they expire. However, some businesses may still honor them, depending on their policies. It’s best to contact the company directly for further clarification.
