A: First, check your local and state laws regarding abandoned property or vehicles, as these can vary significantly. Often, there is a specific process for handling abandoned trailers or personal property left on your land after an eviction. You might need to post a notice on the trailer and send a certified letter to the former tenants, giving them a final deadline to remove it.

If the trailer is still not claimed or removed after following the proper legal steps, you may have the right to dispose of it, sell it, or have it towed off your property. Make sure to document every step you take, including photos, written notices, and any correspondence. This documentation can protect you if the previous owners try to claim the trailer later.

Consider contacting local authorities, such as the police or a local towing company, to assist with the removal. Sometimes, they can help identify the proper legal route and take the necessary actions to resolve the situation. Keep yourself informed to avoid any legal complications while handling the abandoned trailer.
